The photography
Based in New York City, Australian Anne Geddes creates iconic, award-winning and well-loved images. She is one of the world's most respected and recognized photographers. Her imagery uniquely captures the beauty, purity and vulnerability of children, embodying her deeply held belief that every child should be "protected, nurtured and loved".
The works
Anne's works, including to date 7 award-winning coffee table books published worldwide, 31 calendars, greeting card ranges and a list of smaller publications including record books and children's magazines, have been published in over 84 countries and translated into 24 languages. A multiple New York Times bestselling author and European bestseller, Anne's photography has been treasured and respected for many generations. Anne has received numerous awards throughout her career, both for her iconic images and her philanthropic representations and donations.
International fame
In 2017 Anne was inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame, joining a select group of international photographic elites.
Social commitment
Anne also lives her message as a Global Advocate for Children, working alongside the United Nations Foundation's Every Woman Every Child initiative - Ambassador for the March of Dimes - and Global Ambassador for Meningococcal Disease Awareness. Throughout her celebrated career, Anne is also known for her work to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect.
